A dude ranch is a guest ranch, where you can stay and live ranch life; in contrast to a ranch, where people make their living. OR It’s a ranch where they – instead of cows – keep men, grazing the fields, dressed in loose t-shirts and the occasional cap who instead of “Moo”, go “Whoa”. Several types of dudes are kept. Common are the southern dude # and the western #. Though they do interbreed.
