Ranch dressing is an American salad dressing usually made from buttermilk, salt, garlic, onion, mustard, herbs, and spices mixed into a sauce based on mayonnaise or another oil emulsion. It is a “creamy” dressing, and in addition to being used on salads, it is also used as a dip for crudites. Some people really like it, especially kids because it the flavoring is not very strong. What is really disgusting is people dipping pizza into a bowl of ranch dressing.
