Based purely on the challenges I face in this life, my guess is that the problem I am here to solve is the squandering of my talents and my indecisiveness. I waste a lot of time avoiding doing the things I’m very good at, and I’m constantly planning and revising my plans to do things, without actually getting to the doing of them.

Last Answer : I think very common among actors and actresses and less common among authors these days. Female authors often went under male pseudonyms back in the olden days as they would get more exposure, respect and reception under a male pen name.

Last Answer : I don’t know of an open source app, but I have found a web app that can guess the gender of a web page’s author. Once again I forget what it is called (found it through stumble) but if you can find it through google, it might be of some help.
