answer:Where did you get the driver? Personally, just about everything I have on the Ubuntu side of my PC is from the official repositories (often the“restricted extras” portion) since that is the stuff that is proven to work. If Canonical doesn’t have it, there is usually a reason for it. Here is a link to a forum thread about Z2300 drivers for Ubuntu that has a few links to drivers. Let me know if it helps.

Last Answer : Just put your psp in usb mode (under the system menu I think), then use the usb cable to connect the computer and the psp. It should show up like an external disk in your computer and you should be able to drag and drop mp3s to the psp.
