answer:Warning, opinion and rant to follow. This makes me go bananas, when people pay for a high resolution monitor and then run it at low resolution and everything looks jaggy and awful. A monitor has one optimal resolution, the one with biggest numbers. Use it. If text is too small, adjust text size. In Windows 7, for example: Control Panel ->Display My computer shows two settings – 100% and 125% Also, individual programs allow you to zoom in. WOrd, Firefox, Internet Explorer, etc, they all have a zoom setting which enlarges text without distorting everything else.
