I once had a boyfriend not even notice when I had two feet cut off of my hair. It had been long enough to sit on. I was surprised that I wasn’t upset, actually I was a bit flattered that he really didn’t notice my hair to the exclusion of all else. I have been with men who seemed to think that my hair length reflected somehow on them (WTF???) so the guy who didn’t care won a lot of points.
