At this point in time, I’m unemployed and on COBRA, so I have nothing better to do with my time than to look over every one of my bills and call my insurance company to make sure they have paid what they are supposed to pay. It actually worked out for me because they were supposed to pay a pap smear in full and I got charged 200.00. It is all very stressful and I feel bad for older people who can’t keep track of all of this. Your only recourse is to be vigilant and make sure you are getting the benefits you are due.
