answer:What’s the name of the folder and what’s your OS? I’m using Windows XP. E.g., if I right click on the “My Documents” folder in my “start” menu, there’s an option to “Show on Desktop”. I clicked on that option and it immediately gave me a fully functional desktop shortcut.
