answer:Yes, I think so. I have no idea how computers work, and I really, really wish I did. People like me are interested in it, but teenagers who have no background in it would be unlikely to choose it as a major just randomly due to fear of the unknown. If we had some sort of knowledge base, then we’d be less intimidated by technology. But at the same time, every time I learn something about computers I feel this need to “explore” and always end up breaking things. I have a feeling that schools half don’t want to teach kids how to mess with computers so they still have a few functioning computers, haha.
