What does research into memory tell us, about how memory is organised in the brain?

1 Answer

Answer :

answer:This may not fit into what you are looking for, but I found it fascinating. The older we get, the less likely we are able to multitask. Here is one article on it. There was also a study done on people who were capable of multitasking in their younger years, but when the same tests were conducted on them years later, their scores slipped fairly dramatically. I recall watching a documentary on this. The interviews with the people tested over time were somewhat sad. Then again, I’d rather know that this is a factor of the brain than think that something is wrong with me. Another example is the study of people diagnosed with autism or any other mental disorder. They just relate to life in a different way. Their brain works differently. Until we understand why, how can we properly assist them?
