Welcome to Fluther. I’m not a homeowner, but this kind of sounds like a waste of money to me. If you have a way to record video or take photos, you can do all of this recording yourself, and then keep the data (memory card, etc.) in a safe deposit box at a bank. I know this is what my parents did when we moved to a new place. If you took this company’s offer, you’d be paying for convenience.
