answer:They believe it because most of the world believes it, they are told it from very young ages. It is presented like fact. Then, it is reinforced with TV shows and books and the big one—religion. For some people they find it comforting to think their loved ones are in a “better place.” I don’t believe in it, but if I am wrong I will be fine with that too. I would not argue with someone who believes it, my belief is for myself.
