Answer :

I don’t think so, if she is not disabled. Has your wife worked all these years? If so she would draw off of her own benefit. You need to call your local social security office and ask them directly. 62 is the youngest age one can apply for any S.S. benefit but you will forfeit around 30% by taking it earlier than full retirement age.
