People still say “smoking a joint”, but only if you’re actually smoking a joint. There are just a lot of other methods of smoking, like doing a dab, doing a bong rip, smoking a blunt, etc. I still here “let’s blaze” to mean “let’s smoke”. My best friend would always tell me to “pack a bowl” for him (i.e. put ground weed into the bowl of the bong) even though I don’t smoke, so I’d respond with “fuck you, pack your own bowl”. lol My stoner friends also always told me that “weed” is the preferred term among people who smoke; “pot” is what someone who doesn’t smoke or dislikes weed calls it. I can’t speak for the youngest generation. I know people still think millennials are 12-year-olds, but we’re getting old. I just see the youngest generation Juuling all the time. Don’t know what they think of weed or what they call it.
