It depends on the neighborhood, whether they’re bonded and/or insured, if it’s a cleaning company where you work with a managment with people under them, or if you’re talking about dealing with a single person who works alone. There are too many variables to give you a firm answer. I’d start by calling around to competitors, and see what they say. When I ran my business (I worked alone), I charged $15 to $20 an hour, depending on the job, where it was, and how much they needed me (sometimes I charged less because that’s what they could afford).
