A myth is defined as a religious story with no verified evidence*. Given that, Adam & Eve certainly fits into this definition. However, unlike the Greco-Roman myths, a large number of people still believe in the historicity of Adam & Eve regardless of the lack of evidence. This makes it difficult for many people to place the Adam & Eve story in the category of "myth", even though it belongs there. * Definition of "Myth": a traditional or legendary story, usually concerning some being or hero or event, with or without a determinable basis of fact or a natural explanation, especially one that is concerned with deities or demigods and explains some practice, rite, or phenomenon of nature.
