A prepaid MasterCard is a good thinkg to have with you in your wallet. There are many dollar amounts of cards and reloadable cards available. If you are going out to shop or to an area you don't know well or is unsafe, then having a prepare card is much safer. You limit your spending by having a set limit on the card and it equates to paying with cash. Also, if you lose the card or if someone steals it the damages or losses is less.
