Ingredients1 cup lentils1/2 cup rice2 cups carrots sliced3 cups water1 packet vegetable broth1 teaspoon garlic1 teaspoon dried basil1 tablespoon olive oilWash and pick over lentils. Place in large pot with rice and carrots. Add all remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and cook until rice is done, 20 to 30 minutes.
