The Scientific Revolution started in the 1500sduring the Renaissance. This is heralded by the publication ofAndreas VesaliusÕs book On the Workings of the Human Body. NicolausCopernicus, Galileo Lalilei, Tycho Brahe, and Johannes Brahe wereother scientists of this time period to advance science. In the1600s, the scientific method became more widespread.
