Capulet goes really overboard in demanding that Juliet marryParis. He has foolishly given a promise to Paris that she will doso and now does not want to look like the fool he is. Of coursewhen people know they are wrong, they really cannot take criticism,and this is true of Capulet. And you know the Nurse; she cannotkeep her mouth shut. So she criticises him.
