You can treat the stain with a mixture of hydrogen peroxide and acetic acid. The composition is applied to the carpet, and allowed to dry, then the contaminated place is treated with soda, left for an hour, after which you just need to vacuum it.
We remove stains from red ****, blood
Stains from an accidentally spilled glass of **** or blood can be removed as follows: rinse the stained place with cold water, blot excess moisture with a napkin. Next, in one liter of water, dilute one tablespoon of **** vinegar and rinse the carpet. After it dries, the stain will disappear.
There is another method that helps to get rid of red **** stains: pour white **** onto the contaminated surface, when the liquid is completely absorbed into the pile, rinse with cold water and blot with a napkin, sprinkle with salt on top, wait twenty minutes, and vacuum.
We remove stains from fruits and berries
It is advisable to eliminate spots from berries with lightning speed. So, to begin with, carefully remove all residues from the carpet, treat the surface with a solution of **** vinegar and detergent. Let it dry. If the stains do not disappear, repeat the procedure, after the carpet is dry, vacuum it.
Getting rid of unpleasant odors
In addition to the fact that carpets warm our premises well, perform the function of sound insulation, they also perfectly decorate and complement any interior. But at the same time, floor and wall coverings absorb unpleasant odors: cigarette smoke, mold, the smell of animal urine, etc. New carpets also have their own factory smell, which can cause allergies in some people. How to get rid of this?
Mold
If your rug has been wet, washed, but not completely dry, it is possible the appearance of fungus and a typical smell. To get rid of this trouble, you need to find a dry place (for this you can turn the carpet over), namely, whitish spots that should be treated with an antifungal solution. Next, the carpet needs to be cleaned and dried.
Cigarette smoke
Usually, various odors, including cigarette smoke, appear on fairly old carpets. You can get rid of them in several stages. First you need to vacuum the coating, then treat it with a carpet cleaner (just pay attention to the type of coating and the chemical). When the carpet is dry, vacuum it again. And, of course, after all the manipulations, be sure to dry and ventilate in the fresh air.
New carpets
New carpets, especially synthetic ones, always emit an unpleasant odor, which can cause asthma attacks and allergies. There is no need to process the product, experts recommend laying it in a room where there are no people for several weeks until the smell disappears.
Folk remedy - soda
If you are a fan of only safe products, then pay attention to soda, which will not only remove the smell, but also perfectly clean the entire carpet. It can be used as a stand-alone product, or you can add salt. Usually rubbed into the carpet for several hours, then vacuumed.
How to remove urine smell from carpet
To prevent pets from marking the carpet again, it is necessary to completely remove the smell of urine. To do this, you can soak the stain with hydrogen peroxide (3%), blot it with a sponge or rag. If the stain is old, blot with peroxide, allow to dry and then wash again. You can add soda to the peroxide (it will remove all stains). Remember that peroxide has a mild, but still whitening effect, try this method very carefully.
