Rigid suspension system?

1 Answer

Answer :

A rigid axle suspension is simply the just opposite of an independent suspension. These type of suspensions are dependent  to adjacent wheel of a vehicle. In a rigid or solid suspension a beam or shaft is commonly connected wheels on both sides. Hence when one wheel is hitted on a bump or pothole the other wheel is also affected. This is an old kind of suspension as almost all new generation vehicles are using an independent suspension. An independent suspension has an independent system to each wheel of a vehicle.
