The environment has greatly benefited from the lessened human activity bought by this pandemic. It only goes to show that man himself is the main source of all ecological problems we are experiencing right now. And if we are the source of these problems, we are also the solution. We don't have to always think big, sometimes you just have to think on a personal level to affect changes. You as an individual can do changes in your daily habits that you know is not good for the environment. Its the simple, little things you do that matters like being mindful of your own trash, practicing responsible waste disposal, recycling whatever you can recycle, going paperless as much as possible. Even the simple gesture of carrying your own Eco bag and steel straws, spoons and forks, tumblers every time you go out means one less person who contributes to the piles of plastic trash in the world. Avoiding single use plastics and going for those you can just clean and re-use for a long time. Patronizing products that are all natural, free from chemicals that may harm the environment is a conscious choice in favor for the environment as well as the brands of product we choose. It would definitely serve the community well when we choose brands that are socially responsible and has adapted methods that are sustainable for the environment. Even minimalism, it does not only benefit the person in his home but the environment as well, less clutter means less trash accumulated. Imagine all these and many more 'little acts of kindness' that we could adapt and develop habit to do on our own as individuals. If you could influence just one person, your family member, relative, a friend or neighbor, perhaps from what they see in you and how you live by example and that person could influence another then more and more people would be aware, learn and develop environment friendly habits. No act is too small that it couldn't affect change in the world. Everything starts from small beginnings before they grow into larger scale. That is how each one of us should continue to save Mother Earth.
