Discharging the battery on a mobile phone.

How do I save battery life on my mobile phone? When I charge it every day even when it's not completely discharged, or when I let it fully discharge when it turns off and then fully charge it?

2 days ago there was a nice article about handling the battery. Elsewhere I read that the capacity of the battery should ideally be kept between 40-80%, which I think I would become a slave to the battery ... at the price of a few hundred I have no problem with the battery in 18 months to buy a new battery (unless I replace the phone).
