Is Picasa really going out? Will there be something instead?

Answer :

Picasa will not end, only the name of the program will be different. Google will buy this, among other things, and if it does, it will be renamed, but I think it will improve. So I don’t think anyone who has used Picasa so far will go wrong. From now on, you will be using at most Google Photos, which will be accessible from the standard app store.
