answer:If it’s not Picasa Web Albums, then I think it’s just the Picasa desktop application. Meaning they are still on your machine and not public. If this is the case, when you right-click (Windows) or control-click(Mac) on a photo in Picasa, there will be a pop-up menu. If “Upload to Picasa Web albums” is a choice, the photo is not on the web. If “Online Actions” is a choice, the photo is on the web.
