Bourbon Acorn Squash recipe
Ingredients:
1 large acorn squash, halved, seeds removed.
2 tablespoons of brown sugar.
1 tablespoon of butter.
¼ cup of bourbon.
Preparation Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Place the halved squash, cut side down, on a cookie sheet and bake for 50 minutes or until a fork goes easily into the shell.
Remove the squash from your oven and allow to cool for 20 minutes.
Scoop out the squash from the shell and put it in a mixing bowl.
Add the sugar, butter and bourbon and beat thoroughly.
Place the squash in a casserole dish and bake, uncovered, for 20 minutes.
