When our twins were born, I tried to catch the doctor at the hospital, but I can honestly say it was pretty uncomfortable. I didn’t have a minute’s rest until I had the money in the ward. And the whole operation was so impersonal. It took the doc about half a minute to pick up the envelope. I am now expecting our third baby. I’m only six weeks pregnant, but I want to get ready for this situation as soon as possible.

Answer :

Don't make it such a big deal! You have to go for a six-week check-up and then hand him the money in his office. But if that's not good for him before you leave the hospital, he'll still be around you.
