The cause of the tides: - The side of the earth where the moon is attracted to the moon, the water of the sea surface of the earth is attracted more strongly than the soil below it. Due to this the water on the side of the moon swells more. At the same time, the part of the earth that is on the opposite side of the moon , the soil below the sea is attracted by the moon more than the water above it. Again, the distance from the moon to the water is greater than that of the earth, so the attraction of the moon over the water is less. As a result, the water overflowed all around. In this case, the story of swelling occurs. As a result, this swelling of the sea surface water of the earth towards the moon and opposite to the moon at the same time is called tide. When the moon moves away from the earth due to the rotation of the earth and the moon, the swollen water goes down. This fall of water is called ebb.
