It would be very beneficial for a person bitten by a snake to do the following. * The person should be reassured. Most victims think death is inevitable. Therefore, if he is given courage in an emergency and sent to the appropriate place / hospital for treatment with first aid, the patient will regain faith and courage. * The bite site should not be cut at all. Wounds should be wiped with a damp cloth or antiseptic lotion. * From the stinging place, place a knot with a towel or cloth immediately on the inside (if the leg is bitten on the thigh , if the hand is bitten on the elbow) in such a way that there is nothing too tight or loose (a finger can go in with a little effort). * The snake bite area cannot be moved much. This is because the toxins spread quickly throughout the body when the muscles contract. * The patient should be rushed to the hospital. The affected person will not be allowed to walk during the transfer . The patient should be carried to the hospital on the shoulder , cot or cradle.
