It is narrated from Ibn 'Umar that he used to wear the most beautiful clothes on the day of Eid. (Bayhaqi: 1901) 6. To use perfume. (Mustadrake Hakeem , Hadith No. 6570) 6. To eat sweets like dates etc. However, it is better to eat the meat of one's own sacrifice after the Eid prayers without eating anything on Eid-ul-Azha. Narrated from Buraida ( ra ) : He used to come back from Salat and eat the meat of Qurbani. (Ahmad: 1422) Narrated Anas : The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) would not go out on the day of Eid al-Fitr without eating a few dates , and he would eat dates in odd numbers. (Bukhari: 900) 6. Going to Eidgah in the morning. (Abu Dawood , Hadith No. 1158) 9. Paying Fitr in Sadaqah before going to Eidgah on Eid-ul-Fitr. It is narrated from Ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) instructed the people to perform Sadaqatul Fitr before going out for Eid prayers. (Bukhari , Hadith No. 1421) 10. Going to Eidgah on foot. Ali Ra. Narrated from , he said: Circumcision is to walk in the Eidgah. (Tirmidhi: 17) 11.
