Which of molarity and molarity is dependent on temperature and why ?

1 Answer

Answer :

: ' Molality' relates to the weight of the solvent and the number of moles of the solution. Since the weight of the solvent and the number of moles of the solution do not change with the change of temperature. Thus the molarity of the solution is not dependent on temperature. Molarity is related to the volume of the solution and the number of moles of the solution. Since the change in temperature does not change the mole number of the solution but changes the volume of the solution , the molarity of the solution depends on the temperature.
