On the contrary , Allah Almighty has strictly forbidden those who do not ask for alms from the people . No. 436 Nabiji sa. He further said that begging is a wound ; By this the beggar wounds his face. - Sunane Nasai , ha. No. 96 in another hadith of the Prophet Karim. He said that a person who begs unnecessarily does terrible things like holding embers in his hand. - Sunan Bayhaqi , Ha. No. 634 in another hadith of the Prophet. He said that the person who begs from someone to increase his wealth , he is begging from the fire of hell. If he wants, the fire of hell can beg less and beg more. - Sunan Ibn Majah , ha. No. 579 Islam commands to help each other and to donate wealth in times of danger. However, the charity should not be in the form of begging but voluntarily and with satisfaction. The Prophet. He said that the person who promises that he will not reach out to others. I will take charge of his paradise. - Sunan Ibn Majah , Ha. No. 56 Therefore, it is not lawful to take begging as one's profession. Rather it is completely haram based on the above discussion. However, in Islam, begging is allowed in a state of utter disability. It is forbidden to beg or lend a hand to people even if they have the least ability.
