Calcium channel is basically an ion channel which shows the reliable accessibility of calcium ions to all the nerves in the body. It is sometimes synonymous with the voltage-gated-calcium channel , although it contains the nerve ligand-gated calcium channel. Adequate amounts of calcium are required for healthy bones in the body. This adequate calcium enters the nerves and muscles to function properly through the calcium channel. By It lowers arterial blood pressure and causes the heart to become active in order to pump blood.
