Almost everyone has an experience. Everyone in the house ate dinner and sat in front of the TV. After a while, Grandpa leaned back in his chair and started snoring. The younger members of the family are watching TV , but there is no question of snoring. It is not that the little ones do not blow their noses occasionally in their sleep . But adults call more noses. When we breathe in, we call the sound that comes from the soft palate inside the mouth and the vibration of the obstructed air in the tongue. How many conditions are needed for nasal congestion? For example, thinning of the inner lining of the throat, moving of the soft palate , alveolar , tonsils or the back of the tongue, or excessive accumulation of fibers in the throat, etc. Why do people just blow their noses while sleeping ? This is because the muscles inside the mouth become loose during sleep or the face may move to an awkward position that makes it difficult to breathe. When you are awake, there is usually no obstruction to the airways in the airways , the muscles are always in harmony and the airway is open. This is why people who are awake do not sniff. As you grow older, your mouth and throat muscles become weaker and weaker. They can no longer hold the fibers inside the mouth as tightly as before. Then the air circulation is obstructed. Apart from that, with age, many people accumulate fat in their body. It freezes not only in the abdomen , but also in the neck and throat. Then the muscles around the neck shrink and with it the airway becomes narrower. That's why adults snore more than children.
