Judicial Powers: The President enjoys vast Judicial powers also: (i) The President has the power to grant pardon, reprieves, remit or suspend a death sentence on any appeal for mercy. (ii) He is not answerable before any Court of Law for the discharge of his duties. (iii) No criminal suit can be initiated against him during his tenure of office.
