what to do when asparagus goes to seed-do i cut it back?

1 Answer

Answer :

When mine goes to seed I let it do its thing.  After it has dropped it's seed and gotten all the nutrients it can from the stalk it will turn brown, that's when I cut it off.  If you let it drop it's seed you will get more plants.
