when rhubarb is unattended and goes to seed will it be ok the next season

1 Answer

Answer :

Yes, it will be fine.  Rhubarb is herbaceous, it dies back to the ground each year. Only the flower stalks get woody looking but they're hollow.  The only reason to remove the flower stalks is to save the plant from expending that much energy and extend its productive season.
