They love ground cornmeal put some away from that cucumber plant...they will eat it and not digest it.  When the sun goes down & the plant is cooled off, mix up 1 teasp non-alcohol liquid soap & 1 qt of water and spray............spray again if you see them.  spray the buds..................and again after a rain.
