There are dozens of books written by veterinarians such as "Careers in Veterinary Medicine" by Jane Carly Duncan and "Opportunities in Veterinary Medicine Careers" by Robert E. Swope. If you already know the field of veterinary medicine you're interested in, read books about your particular field of interest. Check on what qualifications are required to enter veterinary school.
