Do the same group of Canadian geese always fly together?

1 Answer

Answer :

Were I to guess, I’d say the answer is no. It is known that geese a monogamous and will stay with their partner for life (so in that sense, they fly together). They will also follow roughly the same flyway every year and families will often join together to create flocks. From what I’ve seen out there, I don’t think the groups are always made up of the same individuals, however.
