Has anyone tried Bio-Identical Hormone Therapy?

1 Answer

Answer :

I haven’t but I have a friend who swears by it. Her docs first put her on that stuff made from pregnant mare urine, Premarin, and it made her gain a chunk of weight and caused her to grow extra breast tissue. It also made her feel “wrong.” She switched doctors and switched to BIHT and immediately felt better. She gradually lost much of the weight but was stuck with the larger breasts. She developed neck and back strain from them and so recently underwent breast reduction surgery. Now she looks and feels the way she did before she ever took Premarin. As far as my friend is concerned, she wouldn’t do anything but BIHT. Personally, I haven’t had to take any hormones yet. I lift weights and do cardio to try to hold back osteoporosis and other aspects of aging. If I start to grow a beard the way my mom did I’ll look into the various options. However, my mother had problems with Premarin, also, so I might very well seek out BIHT. Certainly my friend is an excellent recommendation for it.
