Answer :

Mine will also deplete pretty quick and I use it a lot. Yes they can replace them at the Apple store and it may be under warranty if the battery really does die. To preserve battery I keep the screen brightness down as low as possible. Also some applications that run in the background are known for killing battery life. I also have it go to sleep after one minute which helps too. @JohnPowell had a great list on another thread about preserving battery life. I cannot find it so hopefully he will pop in and add to the list.
