When I was little most adults had a broad variety of sayings. Now, I’m desperately trying to NOT use them but, against my will and intention the come out of their own accord. It feels like I’m irrevocably transforming into an “old” person without being able to stop even what comes out of my mouth. I had this discussion with some friends a few days ago, and all we agreed that it is scary. It’s not that I have anything against sayings, they are nice in their own way, but not being able to stop them when other language is just as good is scary. Anyone else have the same experience?
