This solution kind of sux, you lose all of your playlists. But if you can live with that… 1) Go to Music in iTunes. Pick all the songs (Ctrl+A in Windows, or Edit->Select All). 2) Delete. Everything. Delete them all. DO NOT MOVE TO RECYCLE BIN OR TRASH! REPEAT – DO NOT MOVE TO RECYCLE BIN OR TRASH 3) Choose File->Add folder to library… 4) Pick your music folder, iTunes will rebuild your library. You will have all the music, but your playlists are nuked.
