Answer :

If I were in your situation, I would break into his house, and sit with him in silence until he came out of his slump. I would be there if he wanted to get anything off his chest, or just someone to vent to. I don’t think this is the best course of action, but it is honestly the one I would go with. (Sorry I couldn’t be of more help.)
