answer:I suspect that it is a budgetary issue. Every public school in my area has had to cut back, with great reluctance, many programs that they love. They have to make draconian decisions. Would you have any time to volunteer? Otherwise, you are, sadly, whistling in the wind. Do you go to the school board meetings when they discuss and explain the budget? It is a cautionary tale.
