Most of them are now linked to things such as asteroids hitting us and there are theories that one will hit us in 2029 although others say it will be 2036. That being said, one of the next theories about the end of the world that is linked to religion comes from an Islamic scholar called Said Nursi who also believes it will end in 2129 due to his interpretation of a text that forms part of the hadith. I’m sure that there will be other people popping up online with ideas about when the world will end, for example there is a psychic that says it will happen in 2020, but they predicted it would end in the 60s as well so they have experience of missing the boat.
