answer:I would call and tell them. Someone with a doctor’s office left a message for a client on my phone to verify an appointment. I called and explained she had called the wrong number. The receptionist thanked me and said she’d call the person again. I couldn’t tell you how many times I’ve called the wrong number, realized what I’d done after it started ringing and hung up the phone only to have someone call me back wanting to know who had called their number. They sort of grill me. That always make me shake my head. Don’t people dial wrong numbers anymore. A wrong number is one thing. Leaving a message is another. I’d try to straighten it out if it was more than one message.
