answer:@AstroChuck Long time no see! My daughter went to Costa Rica a couple years ago on a class trip, through EF Tours. For the most part we were pretty satisfied with the service and what she got for the money. The only negative I remember (and this is kind of foggy) is having to come up with something like $100 more in cash for the tour guides. I’m not sure if this was EF Tours or the school staff who coordinated the trip. I’m not sure how young your daughter is, or how responsible you feel she can be with spending money. We got our then-12-year-old a debit card that we could follow and control through a US bank. (Actually, I think it was from USBank).
